Anonymity/Filesharing: I2P 0.7.11 released. I2P
is an anonymizing network, offering a simple layer that
identity-sensitive applications can use to securely communicate. All
data is wrapped with several layers of encryption, and the network is
both distributed and dynamic, with no trusted parties.

Filesharing: Forban v0.0.5 released – p2p application using link-local and local area network for sharing files and especially sharing bookshelf.

Encryption: FreeOTFE v4.71 and FreeOTFE Explorer v2.10 released – the first disk encryption system to be released which doesn’t need administrator rights to be used "portably" (e.g. with USB sticks)
